Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Prioritizes Climate Resilience, Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan Affirms

Islamabad- Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to building a climate-resilient future during a seminar held at COMSATS. The event, centered on academia’s role in advancing green solutions for cities, drew the participation of key stakeholders and students from various educational institutions.

In his keynote address, Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan underscored the pivotal role of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme in fostering sustainable urban development and championing environmental stewardship. Emphasizing the importance of empowering youth, he highlighted initiatives like the Green Youth Movement (GYM) Clubs, established in 137 public universities nationwide.

“The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme is dedicated to equipping young individuals with the skills and opportunities needed to spearhead the transition towards nature-inclusive and climate-resilient urban environments,” stated Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan. He praised the GYM Clubs for their proactive approach in raising awareness about climate change and implementing innovative solutions.
