Pakistan Invites Azerbaijani Investors to Explore Investment Potential.
ISLAMABAD: In a bid to strengthen bilateral ties and foster economic cooperation, Federal Minister of Industries and Production and National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, held a constructive meeting with Ambassador Khazar Farhadov of Azerbaijan in Islamabad.
During the meeting, both dignitaries underscored the deep-rooted brotherly relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, emphasizing the importance of enhancing collaboration in various sectors. Minister Hussain reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to its relationship with Azerbaijan, highlighting the government’s priority to boost investment in industry, production, and agriculture.
Minister Hussain extended a warm invitation to Azerbaijani investors, urging them to explore the vast investment potential that Pakistan offers. He underscored the government’s focus on implementing Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s vision for the industrial and agricultural sectors, stressing the pivotal role of agriculture in Pakistan’s economy.
Acknowledging agriculture as the backbone of Pakistan, Minister Hussain emphasized the significant contribution of the sector to the country’s foreign exchange earnings and food security. He outlined the government’s efforts to increase agricultural exports, ensuring sustainable economic growth and food self-sufficiency.
