ETPB Recovers Rs. 8 Billion Worth of Properties from Illegal Occupants Nationwide
Expressing satisfaction with the progress made, the Chairman affirmed his support for continued efforts to reclaim ETPB properties from unauthorized individuals.
LAHORE: In a significant operation targeting illegal occupants, the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) has successfully reclaimed valuable properties worth Rs. 8 billion across the country. Spearheaded by Board Secretary Farid Iqbal, the operation saw a collaborative effort between the Trust Board and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), marking a decisive blow against the so-called “possession mafia.”
The operation, meticulously supervised by Secretary Farid Iqbal, witnessed the eviction and sealing of properties unlawfully held by occupants in various areas of Karachi, including Lasbela Chowk, Civil Hospital Karachi, and Sohrab Goth Super Highway.
Secretary Farid Iqbal presented a comprehensive report of the operation to the Chairman of the Board, receiving commendation for the remarkable achievement. Emphasizing the Board’s commitment to upholding the rule of law, Secretary Farid Iqbal reiterated that operations against illegal occupants would persist nationwide.
