Punjab Police Intensifies Crackdown as 35,000 Afghan Nationals Deported Across the Province

Punjab – (Web Desk) – Punjab Police has crossed a major milestone as 35,000 Afghan nationals deported Punjab in the ongoing operation against illegal foreigners living across the province. Authorities continue to tighten their grip as the crackdown moves forward at full speed.

According to a Punjab Police spokesman, 183 illegal foreigners are currently held at various holding points, waiting to be sent back to Afghanistan.

The deportees include 13,728 men, 7,048 women, and 14,366 children. Among them, 10,898 individuals had no valid legal documents at all. A further 11,131 Afghan Citizen Card holders, who were staying in Pakistan without legal permission, were also deported.

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Abdul Karim, has directed all law enforcement agencies to speed up the process and ensure no illegal foreigner is left behind. He made it clear that under international laws, there is no place for illegal residents in Punjab.

The operation reflects Pakistan’s firm commitment to enforcing immigration laws and maintaining law and order across the province.
