The first winter snowfall blankets the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan and Kaghan Valley in a stunning layer of white.
Chilas – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – Cold and frosty weather is brought to the Gilgit Baltistan region by snowfall on the mountains.
Snowfall in GB’s Diamer and Chilas districts has left a white blanket of snow in their wake.
Kaghan Valley of Mansehra also received the first snowfall of the cold weather as mercury goes down.
Six inches of snow have fallen on Babusar Top thus far. Snow has also fallen on Saif ul Malook Lake, Batta Kundi, Jelkhad, Besar, Koh-e-Safaid, and Noori Top.
The first snowfall of the winter in Kalam brought drastic change in temperatures, according to reports.
Babusar Top and Babusar Pass usually remain closed from November to June every year owing to heavy snow.
