WASHINGTON: (Web Desk) – U.S. President Donald Trump said he believes divine support is on America’s side in its tensions with Iran. Responding to a journalist’s question about whether God is helping the United States, Trump said he personally feels that may be the case.
He added that God represents goodness and cares about humanity, emphasizing that the current situation is not something God would approve of. Trump also clarified that despite public perception, he does not take pleasure in such conflicts.

Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth drew a symbolic comparison between a rescued American pilot and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. He described how the pilot’s ordeal aligned with the timeline of Good Friday, Saturday, and Easter Sunday.
According to Hegseth, the aircraft was brought down on Good Friday, the pilot remained in hiding the following day, and was ultimately rescued at sunrise on Easter Sunday. He portrayed the incident as a moment of national relief and celebration, marking the safe return of the serviceman.
