How Wasim Akram Donates Land for Mosque After Hajj and Changed His Life Forever
Wasim Akram – (Web Desk) – Wasim Akram donates land for mosque after Hajj, and the news has touched many hearts across Pakistan. The former fast bowler had set aside five kanals of prime land in Karachi for a five-star hotel. After his pilgrimage, he changed his mind completely.
Yesterday, workers laid the foundation stone of the new mosque on this very land. Akram shared that he once dreamed of building a grand hotel here. But Hajj gave him a new purpose in life.
Many well-known faces joined the ceremony. Pakistan’s cricket greats Inzamam-ul-Haq, Saeed Anwar, and Mohammad Yousuf stood by his side. Religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel also attended the event.
Akram said his close friend Saeed Anwar played a big part in this change of heart. He explained that Allah placed this wish in his heart during Hajj. He wanted to build something that brings blessings to his late parents.
The cricketer has set aside five crore rupees for the mosque. He also promised to cover any extra cost needed to finish the project. His goal is to build a place that brings peace to everyone who visits.
The mosque’s design will follow the style of modern mosques in Turkey. It will offer full comfort and ease for worshippers. A madrasa will also rise on the same land, right next to the mosque.
Akram stayed humble about his big decision. He said all credit goes to Allah and to Saeed Anwar’s guidance. He called this new path one filled with peace.
