WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that he is monitoring the situation in Pakistan and India daily.
In an interview with the American broadcaster ‘NBC’ News, Marco Rubio said that maintaining a ceasefire is not easy, it is always complex and challenging because the ceasefire agreement breaks down very quickly.
Marco Rubio said that the United States monitors the situation in different areas, such as Pakistan and India, Cambodia and Thailand, every day to maintain a ceasefire.

He added that a ceasefire is possible only when both sides agree to stop fighting.
Regarding Ukraine and Russia, Marco Rubio said that a ceasefire can break down very quickly, especially after the war in Ukraine, which has been going on for three and a half years. Russia has not yet agreed to such an agreement; maintaining a ceasefire is very difficult.
He said that our goal is to reach a peace agreement so that there is no war now and there is no war in the future.
