Upcoming ruling SC in election’s case will decide of state: Sheikh Rashid
Rawalpindi: (Staff Reporter) Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said the upcoming ruling of the Supreme Court (SC) in the election’s case will decide between the “democratic life or unconstitutional death of the state”.
According to the tweets, the former interior minister said “it would be tantamount to revolt if the apex court’s orders were defied and there was no rule of law and constitution. He said all people and institutions were subject to the top court.” Taking a dig at the government, he said the “PMLN supremo Nawaz Sharif had threatened that the decision of three judges would take the dollar rate to Rs.500.”
As per details Bilawal keeps saying that emergency or martial law may be imposed. Shehbaz Sharif says the decision of three judges is unacceptable,” Sheikh Rashid lamented and warned that the premier might face contempt of court for defying the orders.
Furthermore it was constitutional right of the chief justice to take suo motu and remove the registrar, he said. The AML chief said the coalition rulers on one side boycotted the judges but begged to submit arguments on the other side.
Moreover he said the nation stood by the government, and warned that there would be chaos if public took to the streets. He said Sharif and Zardari families should prepare to face public.
