Islamabad: Uk Parliament is known as mother of all Parliament: Ms Zoe . Honourable Deputy Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah has said that Pakistan values high its ties with United Kingdom. He said that parliament of Pakistan is committed to solve public issues on priority basis. He also said that Uk Parliament is known as mother of all Parliament and its parliamentary traditions are followed in majority of democratic countries. He expressed these views in a meeting with Political Counselor British High Commission, Ms. Zoe Ware who called on him at Parliament House Islamabad.
Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also said that extending Parliamentary cooperation between parliaments of both countries would further deepen these ties.He added, ” Dialogue is key to strength parliamentary democracy.”
Political Counselor British High Commission, Ms. Zoe Ware extended warm felicitation to Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah on his successful election as Deputy Speaker. She said that UK would continue to support Pakistan especially in Education, energy, trade and investment sector.
