UAE Government Sets the Record Straight on Iranian Community Living in the Emirates

UAE – (Web Desk) – The United Arab Emirates has pushed back against recent media reports about the situation of Iranian nationals living in the country, calling those reports misleading. The government wants to make one thing clear — Iranians living in the UAE are safe, welcome, and valued.

The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared that the Iranian community has called the Emirates home for many decades. They are not just residents — they are a meaningful part of what makes the UAE the diverse and open society it is today.

The ministry also highlighted that the UAE proudly welcomes people from over 200 nationalities under one roof. This reflects the country’s deep-rooted belief in living together peacefully and embracing people from all walks of life.

Addressing recent claims, officials said reports about the residency status of Iranian nationals were unfounded, adding that the country’s legal and institutional frameworks are designed to safeguard the safety and well-being of all residents.
