UAE Fuel Prices Rise Again as Oil Costs Climb

UAE Announces Higher Petrol Prices for June 2026

DUBAI: (Web Desk) – The United Arab Emirates has announced revised fuel prices for June 2026, with petrol rates increasing for the third consecutive month as global oil prices continue to rise.

According to the latest pricing update, the new fuel rates will come into effect nationwide from June 1, reflecting ongoing volatility in international energy markets.

Under the revised structure, Super 98 petrol will be priced at Dh3.95 per litre, up from Dh3.66 in May. Special 95 petrol will increase to Dh3.83 per litre from Dh3.55, while E-Plus 91 petrol will rise to Dh3.76 per litre compared with the previous rate of Dh3.48.

In contrast, diesel prices have been reduced for June. Diesel will now cost Dh4.33 per litre, down from Dh4.69 per litre in May.

The latest adjustment follows a significant rise in global crude oil prices, which reportedly climbed by nearly 50 percent between February and May. Higher international oil costs have continued to push petrol prices upward across the UAE.

While motorists will face higher petrol expenses, diesel users will benefit from a modest reduction, reflecting differing trends in global fuel markets.

The monthly fuel price review system adopted by the UAE links domestic rates to international market movements, resulting in regular adjustments based on global energy price fluctuations.
