LAHORE:  U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome, inaugurated the latest Lincoln Corner at the iconic Quaid-e-Azam Library in Lahore, marking a new chapter in cultural exchange and collaboration between the United States and Pakistan.

Situated in the heart of Lahore within the historic Bagh-e-Jinnah, the Quaid-e-Azam Library stands as a beacon of knowledge, culture, and intellectual growth. Ambassador Blome highlighted the significance of this location as the new home for a dynamic Lincoln Corner, a space designed to foster understanding, promote educational exchange, and empower the next generation of Pakistan’s leaders.

“This Lincoln Corner will serve as a vibrant hub, offering a range of programs and resources for visitors,” Ambassador Blome said. “It is a commitment to investing in Pakistan’s bright and talented youth, providing them with opportunities to learn new skills, explore new technologies, and discover possibilities that will help shape their future.”

The Lincoln Corner in Lahore will provide access to cutting-edge resources, including hands-on opportunities to explore 3D technology, access to over 40,000 academic journals through U.S. research databases, and programs designed to strengthen English language skills. Additionally, it will provide invaluable information about study-abroad and exchange program opportunities in the United States, opening doors for young Pakistanis to explore academic and professional paths abroad.

“Lincoln Corners are more than just spaces; they are platforms for creating connections, fostering cross-cultural dialogue, and championing ideas that promote mutual understanding and respect between people,” Ambassador Blome added. “These spaces are designed to bring Pakistanis and Americans together to collaborate, engage, and share knowledge through technology, cultural programs, and special events.”
