Trump weighs limited strikes, gives Iran 15‑day deal deadline

Trump considers limited strikes on Iran, giving Tehran 10-15 days to respond amid rising tensions in the region.

US Vs Iran – (Web Desk) – U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly considering limited military action against Iran to push the country toward agreeing to Washington’s nuclear deal terms. According to the Wall Street Journal, the strikes may start small but could gradually increase until either a deal is reached or there’s a change in leadership.

Recent reports indicate that U.S. forces have repositioned assets, suggesting operations could begin as early as this weekend. Speaking at the first meeting of his newly formed Board of Peace, Trump warned Iran to reach an agreement or face serious consequences, stating, “really bad things are gonna happen.”

He set a 10- to 15-day deadline for Iran’s response. Tehran, in turn, has promised to respond firmly if attacked, saying, “We will not start a war, but Iran will respond decisively and proportionally to any military aggression.”

In a letter to the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Iran said all U.S. bases in the region would be considered legitimate targets in the event of military action.

The continued threats from both sides came after a second round of negotiations between officials from the two countries.

Earlier, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei threatened to sink U.S. aircraft carriers if Iran was attacked.
