Speaking to an American publication, he indicated that discussions are likely to be held within 36 to 72 hours, with Friday being a possible date.

He added that the US military has been instructed to remain prepared for all possible scenarios while diplomatic efforts continue. According to him, expectations remain high for constructive progress in the upcoming round of dialogue.
