Qatar supports Pakistan’s mediation, opposes expanding negotiations
Washington: (Web Desk) – US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran wants the US to immediately lift the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
The US President wrote on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’ that Iran wants the US to immediately lift the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, they just informed us that it is in a state of disaster.

According to the international news agency, praising the role of Pakistan in the mediation in the press briefing, Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majid Al-Ansari said that there is no need for any other country to participate in the talks.
The Qatari spokesperson added that Qatar has been in touch with all its partners at the regional level and beyond on this issue. A peaceful and diplomatic solution to the war should be supported.
He also expressed concern that the impasse in the ongoing talks between the US and Iran could lead the region to a frozen conflict that could flare up again from time to time.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, without naming any country, said that they would not accept any threat or closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
Qatari spokesman Majid Al-Ansari warned against using the Strait of Hormuz for bargaining, saying it was directly related to global energy security. The world cannot afford any irresponsible adventurism.
