In a successful operation, the Punjab Police have safely rescued Constable Ahmed Nawaz, who was kidnapped by dacoits in the Kach area of Machchka two days ago.
Ahmed Nawaz was taken during a deadly attack on the Punjab Police, in which 12 officers lost their lives and four others were injured.
The news of his safe recovery has brought great relief and happiness to his family, according to a Punjab Police spokesperson.
Leaders Demand Justice for Rahim Yar Khan Attack
Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, stressed that recovering Constable Ahmed Nawaz safely was the force’s top priority. He reaffirmed the police’s dedication to the ongoing operation in Kucha, pledging to eliminate criminal elements from the area.
The newly appointed Rahim Yar Khan District Police Officer highlighted the strong morale and determination of the police in the Kachcha region, noting that Constable Ahmed Nawaz’s safe rescue is a major accomplishment. The police remain committed to their mission to eradicate the robber threat in the area.
Following the deadly attack on police personnel, the Punjab IG replaced the entire top leadership of the Police in the Rahim Yar Khan division.
