Leaders Demand Justice for Rahim Yar Khan Attack
President Zardari and PM Sharif Strongly Condemn Attack on Police Convoy in Rahim Yar Khan
On Thursday, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif vehemently condemned the attack on a police convoy by dacoits in the Kacha area of Rahim Yar Khan.
In an official statement, President Zardari expressed his deepest sympathies to the families of the martyred police officers. He emphasized the urgent need for firm action against the criminals operating in the Kacha region and made it clear that attacks on law enforcement officials would not be tolerated. The president honored the sacrifices of the fallen officers, praying for the elevation of their ranks, and extended his best wishes for the quick recovery of the injured.

Similarly, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed profound sorrow and grief over the loss of police personnel in the attack, according to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office. He offered prayers for the martyrs’ elevation and for patience and strength for their families. The Prime Minister also wished a quick recovery for the injured officers and directed that they receive the best possible medical care.
Shehbaz Sharif further instructed authorities to take immediate and decisive action against the perpetrators in the Kacha area. He emphasized the need to identify and bring the attackers to justice, and commended the police for their bravery and commitment in the face of danger.
