Over Seven Thousand Police Deployed For PSL Final Security Lahore

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Authorities have put in place comprehensive security measures in Lahore ahead of the Pakistan Super League Final at Gaddafi Stadium. Over 7,000 police officers and personnel have been deployed across the venue and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of players and spectators.

The security plan includes active patrols by Dolphin Squad units, Police Response Units, and Elite Force teams along key routes leading to the stadium. Law enforcement agencies have also conducted search, sweep, and combing operations around players’ residences, travel routes, and the stadium to minimize any potential risks.

Officials confirmed that intelligence-based operations were carried out in advance of the high-profile match, while surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, are being used to monitor team movements, accommodation sites, and the stadium premises. Snipers have also been stationed on nearby high-rise buildings as part of a multi-layered security strategy.
