Terrorists attack security forces’ vehicles 14 soldiers martyred in Gwadar

RAWALPINDI – At least 14 soldiers embraced martyrdom when terrorists unleashed attack on vehicles of the security forces in Gwadar, said ISPR.
According to the military’ media wing, two vehicles of security forces moving from Pasni to Ormara in Gwadar district, were ambushed by the terrorists, resultantly 14 soldiers embraced martyrdom in the unfortunate incident.
Sanitization operation is being carried out in the area and perpetrators of this heinous act will be hunted down and brought to justice, said ISPR.
The ISPR mentioned that the security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of “our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve”.
The nation of 240 million has faced a surge in terrorism in recent months, with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other militant outfits intensifying their actions against security forces.
In response, the state has also launched operations to curb terrorism.

Six people were killed and over 20 injured in a powerful explosion that occurred in Tank Adda in Ponda Bazar of Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan) on Friday.
Citing the police, sounds of gunfire were reported at the blast site. The KP bomb disposal squad and law enforcement agencies have arrived at the scene. Emergency measures have been implemented in hospitals in DI Khan.
According to the initial report, the explosive device was planted on a motorbike.
Police said that five injured persons are in critical condition.
The in-charge of the Bomb Disposal Unit Inayatullah told that explosive material was planted in a motorcycle and the blast was carried out by remote control.
