Tennis Titans Clash: Djokovic and Alcaraz Advance in Olympics

Pairs; Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz are moving forward in the Olympics tennis tournament, overcoming challenging humidity conditions .
Djokovic, seeking his first Olympic title, defeated Dominik Koepfer 7-5, 6-3, becoming the first man to reach four singles quarter-finals at the Games .
Alcaraz brushed aside Roman Safiullin 6-4, 6-2, and has yet to drop a set in Paris . Iga Swiatek progressed to the semi-finals after Danielle Collins retired injured in the final set .
Swiatek faced a challenging situation when she was struck by a fierce backhand from Collins, but she continued playing after a brief pause ¹.

Rafael Nadal, a two-time Olympic gold medallist, exited the tournament after he and Alcaraz were defeated in the men’s doubles .
Nadal’s ranking has slumped to 161 due to injuries, and he hinted that this might be his last time playing at Roland Garros .  Djokovic will face 11th-ranked Stefanos Tsitsipas, who he has defeated in 11 out of 13 matches .
Alcaraz will face Tommy Paul, whom he defeated in the Wimbledon quarter-finals .
Swiatek will face China’s Zheng Qinwen, who ended Angelique Kerber’s career with a 6-7 (4/7), 6-4, 7-6 (8/6) win
