Suspicious Bag Discovered Near PTI Rally Venue

Islamabad-(Staff Reporter)-A suspicious bag was found near the site of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Sangjani, Islamabad, prompting the police to call in the bomb disposal squad for inspection. The discovery has led to heightened security measures at the rally venue to prevent potential threats.

The PTI rally, aimed at showcasing the party’s political strength, is scheduled for today. Party leadership has visited the venue, and preparations are complete. The district administration granted conditional approval for the rally, stipulating that it would run from 4 pm to 7 pm without disrupting business or public movement.

To ensure a strong presence, PTI leadership directed MNAs, MPs, and ticket holders from nearby constituencies to bring at least 500 workers, while those from distant areas are expected to bring 150 workers. Members have been asked to form convoys from their constituencies instead of gathering directly in Islamabad.
