Sri Lanka Confirms Continuation of Pakistan Tour Despite Players’ Concerns

Earlier, some Sri Lankan players had requested to return home amid personal concerns.

Islamabad (News Desk): The Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) has confirmed that the national team will continue its ongoing tour of Pakistan as scheduled.

According to an SLC spokesperson, if any Sri Lankan player insists on returning home despite the board’s directives, a replacement player will be sent to Pakistan to ensure that the series schedule remains unaffected.

Earlier, some Sri Lankan players had requested to return home amid personal concerns. However, the players were assured that all their reservations would be addressed through the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The SLC emphasized that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety and well-being of every member of the Sri Lankan team during their stay in Pakistan.
