ISLAMABAD: Spotify has selected Pakistani musician Samar Jafri as its RADAR Pakistan featured artist for the fourth quarter of 2025, recognizing his rapid rise and growing appeal among young listeners nationwide.

Jafri shot to fame earlier this year with his singles “Main Rahun” and “Guzaarishein,” which have collectively amassed over 23 million streams since their release in April and May.

As Pakistan’s music industry embraces the digital age, platforms like Spotify are playing a crucial role in elevating emerging artists and connecting local talent with global audiences.

“Samar Jafri is a remarkable talent and a fitting choice to close out RADAR Pakistan Season 2025. We’re excited to spotlight his journey and introduce his music to even more listeners,” said Rutaba Yaqub, Spotify’s Artist & Label Partnerships Manager for Pakistan and the UAE, in a statement shared by Asiatic Public Relations.

In the past 28 days, Jafri’s music has not only resonated with fans in Pakistan but has also been streamed heavily in Bangladesh, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the UAE. His primary audience falls in the 18 to 24 age group.

Expressing his excitement over the recognition, Jafri shared:

“I’ve been making music for over six years, but it took time and courage to start releasing original songs. Knowing that my music connects with so many people—especially on a platform like Spotify—means everything.”

“Being part of Spotify RADAR is a dream come true. It’s definitely one of the highlights of my year, and there’s so much more I can’t wait to share.”

To celebrate his selection, Spotify will release a mini-documentary showcasing Jafri’s artistic journey, creative process, and the personal experiences that shaped his music.
