Spain Ease Past Austria With 3-0 World Cup Win in LA
Spain & Austria – (Web Desk) – Spain ease past Austria with a 3-0 World Cup win, and the result leaves little doubt about their title chances. The European champions looked sharp, calm, and fully in control from the first whistle to the last.
Mikel Oyarzabal did most of the damage, scoring twice for Spain. Pedro Porro also got on the scoresheet, heading home his first-ever goal for the national team. Together, the trio of goals summed up a near-perfect night for La Roja.
Spain controlled the ball for long spells and kept Austria pinned back for most of the match. Star winger Lamine Yamal caused problems all night, even though he didn’t find the net himself.
Austria tried to fight back after halftime, bringing on two tall strikers to change things up. But the plan never really worked, as Spain’s defense stayed solid and gave away almost nothing.
Coach Luis de la Fuente praised his team’s performance but stayed cautious about what comes next. He said Spain still has room to grow, even after such a strong showing.
Up next, Spain will face either Portugal or Croatia in the Round of 16. That match should be a much tougher test, and fans are already excited to see how La Roja responds.
