Social Media Storm Hits Influencer Nyla Rajah Amid Cricketer Imad Wasim’s Divorce

Nyla Rajah has denied all rumours, calling them baseless and an “attention-seeking” tactic.

ISLAMABAD: Influencer Nyla Rajah has become the focus of online controversy after cricketer Imad Wasim confirmed his divorce from Sannia Ashfaq after more than six years of marriage. The announcement sparked widespread speculation and debate on social media.

As Nyla posted promotional content on Instagram, her comment section turned hostile, with some users accusing her of being a “homewrecker” and invoking religious condemnations. Alleged sightings of Nyla with Imad abroad were cited by critics as evidence, though no verified proof has been presented.

Amid the backlash, some social media users defended Nyla, warning against online harassment, stressing that allegations were unverified, and highlighting the double standards in public shaming. Others argued that responsibility for any marital issues rests primarily with the married partner, not a third party.

Nyla Rajah has denied all rumours, calling them baseless and an “attention-seeking” tactic. She clarified that she was present at events only for promotional purposes and had no romantic involvement with Imad.

The controversy initially gained attention in July 2025 when Sannia Ashfaq gave birth to her child without Imad present, while Nyla was seen posting photos with him, fueling cheating rumours. Actress Ammara Chaudhary, a friend of Sannia, publicly criticized Nyla and Imad for their alleged conduct, further intensifying the debate.

In response, Nyla has threatened legal action against Sannia and Ammara for defamation and malicious allegations. She stressed that defaming people publicly has consequences and clarified her official involvement in PSL events, removing promotional posts to avoid adding to the controversy.

As of now, neither Nyla Rajah nor Imad Wasim has confirmed any romantic relationship, and no concrete evidence has been made public.
