SNGPL Crack Down: 29 Illegal Connections Disconnected in Punjab, KP & Islamabad disconnected; Rs 0.6 Million in Fines Imposed

In Lahore, ANGEL teams disconnected 4 connections for illegal gas use and imposed fines amounting to Rs 0.12 million.

Lahore: In a resolute effort to combat gas theft, ANGEL teams from Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) have successfully disconnected 29 illegal gas connections across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad, imposing fines totaling Rs 0.6 million.

In Lahore, ANGEL teams disconnected 4 connections for illegal gas use and imposed fines amounting to Rs 0.12 million. In Multan, 12 connections were disconnected for illegal gas use and an additional 2 for using compressors. The Faisalabad team disconnected 3 connections for illegal use and levied fines of Rs 0.04 million. In Bahawalpur, 3 connections were cut for illegal gas use, and 2 more for compressor use. In Gujranwala, one connection was disconnected for illegal use, resulting in fines of Rs 0.19 million. The Sahiwal team disconnected 2 connections for illegal gas use, and in Sheikhupura, fines totaling Rs 0.308 million were imposed for gas theft.
