Interior minister grieved over martyrdom of six soldiers
Funeral prayers of shuhada who embraced shahadat today,
RAWALPINDI _ Four terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire between own troops and terrorists in the Asman Manza area of South Waziristan. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location and resultantly four terrorists were sent to hell, while two terrorists were injured. However, during an intense exchange of fire, six brave soldiers having fought gallantly embraced Shahadat.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. The ISPR said the Armed forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve. Meanwhile, caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of soldiers in exchange of fire with terrorists in the Asman Manza area of South Waziristan.
In a message, the caretaker Prime Minister said the six soldiers who lost their lives fighting the terrorists are the pride of the country. Paying homage to the martyrs, he said sacrifices of these soldiers would not go in vain and the menace of terrorism would be extirpated forever.
Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of six soldiers in exchange of gunfire with militants in South Waziristan on Tuesday.
He prayed for the departed souls while appreciating the valour of brave soldiers, said the statement.
Brave soldiers killed four terrorists in the ambush, the minister said in a statement.
He added that the soldiers defended the motherland and sacrificed their lives.
The minister said the sacrifices of Pak Army for the country were unforgettable and the security agencies were busy in defending the motherland to curb terrorism from the country.
He said the cowardly acts of terrorist could not demoralize the brave soldiers of Pak Army.

Funeral prayers of shuhada who embraced shahadat today while fighting valiantly against terrorists during intense exchange of fire between own troops and terrorists in the general area Asman Manza, South Waziristan District were offered at Wana.
Shuhada will be laid to rest with full military honours in their respective hometowns.
Corps Commander Peshawar and other senior serving officers attended the funeral prayers.
Armed Forces of Pakistan stand resolute and committed to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all costs.
