Singer Maliko Withdraws Request to Remove Name from PNIL List
LAHORE: Singer Muhammad Ashraf, known as Maliko, has opted to withdraw his application seeking removal of his name from the PNIL (Proclaimed Offenders’ National Identification List).
Initially, Maliko had approached the Lahore High Court with a plea to have his name removed from the PNIL list. However, he has now submitted a separate application requesting the court’s approval to withdraw his earlier petition.

In his latest filing, Maliko expressed his desire to rescind the request for removal from the PNIL list, urging the Lahore High Court to grant his withdrawal application.
Meanwhile, Advocate Azhar Siddique, who represented Maliko pro bono in the legal proceedings, has officially withdrawn as his legal counsel.
The developments mark a significant turn in Maliko’s legal stance, indicating a shift in his approach to the PNIL matter.
