Karachi: (News Desk) – The results of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) in Sindh have been announced under the supervision of Sukkur IBA University, with 16,507 candidates passing the examination.
A total of 33,336 candidates appeared for the MDCAT across Sindh, recording an overall pass rate of 49.5 per cent.
Students from Tharparkar delivered a notable performance, with five candidates securing places among the top 20. The successful students scored between 176 and 179 marks out of a maximum of 180.
In Karachi, 9,505 candidates appeared in the examination, of whom 5,492 were declared successful. However, no candidate from the city secured a position among the top 20.
Despite this, 18 Karachi students managed to secure places in the top 100 candidates.
Students from several other districts of Sindh also posted strong performances in the MDCAT results.
