Karachi: The Sindh Education Department has officially announced the school holiday and examination schedule for the year 2025, retaining its usual winter and summer vacation dates.
In a recent Steering Committee meeting focused on the academic calendar, the department confirmed that winter vacations will be observed from December 22 to 31, 2024. Summer vacations will follow from June 1 to July 31, 2025.
The committee also finalized the dates for upcoming matriculation and intermediate examinations. The exams for 9th and 10th grades are scheduled to begin on March 15, 2025, while the exams for 11th and 12th grades will commence on April 15, 2025. The matriculation results are set to be announced by July 15, 2025, and the intermediate results will be released on August 15, 2025.

Additionally, the academic session for schools in Sindh will begin on April 1, 2025, while colleges will start their academic year on August 1, 2025.
