Government and Private Schools to Follow Friday Online Classes
LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Rana Sikandar Hayat has approved online classes for Friday in all educational institutions across Punjabprovince of Pakistan”], including schools, colleges, and universities, according to a report by 24NewsHD TV on Thursday.
In his statement, the minister said the decision aims to ensure continuity of education under current circumstances, while appreciating the patience and cooperation of students, teachers, and parents.
After schools, Punjab colleges and universities move to four-day week
A notification from the Punjab Education Department issued yesterday confirmed that schools will remain closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, effectively reducing the academic week to four days.
The Friday online classes directive applies to both government and private schools. According to the notification, regular school hours will be from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Double-shift schools will operate one shift from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, with the second shift running from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
