Former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik has expressed his heartfelt appreciation for workers around the world, acknowledging their unwavering dedication, passion, and hard work.

On International Labor Day, he took to Instagram to share his personal journey and pay tribute to the backbone of the nation.

The former all-rounder Malik’s inspiring message read, “International Workers’ Day reminds me of my own journey – from a young boy dreaming of wearing the Pakistani jersey with pride to achieving my goals through hard work and perseverance.”

He saluted the workers, saying, “Your work is a torch for the youth, showing us the way forward.”

Joining Malik in his tribute were fellow cricketers Muhammad Rizwan and Imamul Haq. Rizwan praised workers for making dreams come true, while Haq acknowledged their tireless efforts, saying, “Laborers make our dreams possible by sweating their blood.”

May 1st, celebrated globally as Labor Day, serves as a reminder to recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication of laborers worldwide, including those in Pakistan.

National hockey team set to leave for Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament

The national hockey team left for Malaysia to participate in the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament.

The national team is scheduled to fly to Malaysia from Islamabad International Airport at 1:30 pm.

The players participated in a training camp in Islamabad for two weeks to prepare for the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament.

The Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament will be played from May 4 to May 11 in Malaysia.

Pakistan hockey team will play their first match in the event against hosts Malaysia on May 4.

The national team will play their second match in the event against South Korea on May 5.

The green shirts will face Japan in the third match on May 7.

The national team’s fourth match against Canada is scheduled on May 8.

Pakistan hockey team will play their last match in the event against New Zealand on May 10.
