Shiraz Refuses to Record Confession in Mustafa Aamir Murder Case
Karachi – The prime suspect in the Mustafa Aamir murder case, Shiraz, appeared before the Karachi Judicial Magistrate South but refused to record his confessional statement. Shiraz claimed that police had been pressuring him to confess to the crime.
During the court proceedings, the accused was scheduled to record his statement under Section 164. However, Shiraz maintained that he was coerced into making a confession and decided against it. In response, the court provided Shiraz with an hour to reconsider his decision, urging him to take time as “this is a matter of life and death.”
