Espinosa thanked the Prime Minister for meeting her. She praised Pakistan’s efforts in recent peace talks in the region. She also spoke highly of Pakistan’s long history of working closely with the United Nations.
This was not Espinosa’s first visit to Pakistan. She had come here before in 2019, when she held the role of President of the UN General Assembly.
