Shan Masood Faces Pressure After Pakistan’s Loss to Bangladesh

Lahore-(Tahir Chuhdary)-Pakistan red-ball captain Shan Masood is facing intense pressure after the team’s disappointing performance against Bangladesh at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. In response, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a high-level meeting and workshop, dubbed the “Connection Camp,” to be held on September 22.

The meeting aims to address the team’s struggles and put Pakistan cricket back on track. Top coaches, including Pakistan white-ball coach Gary Kirsten and red-ball coach Jason Gillespie, will attend the meeting to discuss key issues, including the potential change in captaincy.

Kirsten has already submitted his report on Pakistan’s T20 World Cup performance and has returned home. Gillespie, meanwhile, has also gone back to Australia after the team’s shortcomings against Bangladesh in the Test series.
