Shaista Lodhi Supports Danyal Zafar After Breaking Point Revelation

Danyal Zafar Announces Break After Two Years Of Overwork

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) Pakistani television host and media personality Shaista Lodhi has expressed support for singer and actor Danyal Zafar after he announced a break from professional commitments, saying two years of continuous work had pushed him to a “breaking point.”

Reacting to his Instagram Story, Shaista said she could relate to his experience and understood the exhaustion he had described. She also said Danyal deserved time away from his demanding schedule.

Danyal recently revealed that his past two years had been dominated by frequent travel, television shoots, live performances and album recordings. He said he had barely spent more than a few days in one place because of his professional commitments.

The singer and actor explained that balancing his music and acting careers had taken a toll on his well-being, prompting him to prioritise his health.

Alongside his announcement, Danyal shared a photograph of an intravenous fluid bag but did not disclose a specific diagnosis or provide further details about his condition. He said he had been advised to focus on his health and had decided to follow that advice, putting his professional activities on hold to rest and recover. He has not announced when he will return to work.

In her response, Shaista expressed empathy with his situation, saying she could relate to his words and feel the pain behind them. Referring to his character Sarbuland, she added that he deserved the break and encouraged him to return stronger and more focused.

Danyal had previously revealed that he had worked for 415 consecutive days without a day off. In an earlier post, he also recalled suffering from a fever that left him physically exhausted, highlighting the demands of his packed schedule.

Despite his hectic routine, Danyal has continued working across television and music. His projects include the dramas Raqaas and Zanjeerain, alongside his album STORMS & serenity.
