Interim chief selector Shahid Afridi praised the national cricket team s performance on the first day of the first test in Karachi on Monday.
Mr Afridi praised the team s recovery after early wickets on Twitter, writing, “Pleased with Pakistan s performance today.”A great comeback after the early loss of wickets.”
Underscoring the captain’s innings from Babar Azam, Mr. Afridi said, “Special praise for Babar for another outstanding innings.”
Mr Afridi commented about former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, who made his Test debut. “Sarfaraz proved his selection right, excellent performance for him under pressure,” he said.
