Muzaffarabad-Shoaib Mehmood:-The Farooq Awan Memorial Independence Day Football Tournament concluded successfully in Muzaffarabad, with Shah Football Club emerging as the champion. The final match was held at the University College ground, attended by Brigadier Waqar Najeeb, Commander of 5 AK Brigade, DG Sports Malik Shaukat Hayat, and officials from the Pakistan Army.

Shah Football Club Wins Tournament

In a nail-biting final, Shah Football Club defeated Rayal Football Club 4-3 in a penalty shootout, after a goalless draw in regular time. The tournament saw participation from 20 top teams in Muzaffarabad, with esteemed referees officiating the matches.

Prizes Awarded to Outstanding Players

The chief guest awarded prizes to high-performing players, recognizing their talent and dedication. The tournament committee expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Army and Sports Department for their support in organizing the successful event.
