Taste of the World 2026 promotes culture and raises charity funds

ISLAMABAD: (News Desk)- Serena Hotels, under its Cultural Diplomacy initiative, in collaboration with the International Foreign Women’s Association (IFWA), successfully hosted “Taste of the World 2026,” a vibrant international food festival celebrating global cuisine and cultural diversity.

The event featured 24 food stalls, including participation from various diplomatic missions, offering authentic dishes from around the world. Guests experienced a rich blend of international flavours in a culturally immersive environment.

The festival was inaugurated by IFWA President Ms. Nompumelelo Abu Basutu alongside Serena Hotels CEO Mr. Aziz Boolani. Both emphasized the importance of cultural exchange and community engagement through shared experiences.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Aziz Boolani highlighted Serena Hotels’ commitment to promoting diversity and social impact, stating that the initiative reflects the organization’s vision of bringing communities together through meaningful platforms.

Ms. Nompumelelo Abu Basutu also praised the collaboration, noting that the event successfully showcased global traditions while promoting compassion and unity.

Beyond cultural celebration, the festival also served a charitable purpose. Proceeds from the event will be donated to organizations supporting visually impaired individuals, reinforcing its humanitarian focus.

Organizers confirmed that PKR 2 million was raised during the event, reflecting strong participation and generosity from guests and partners.

Serena Hotels reiterated its continued commitment to cultural diplomacy and social responsibility through initiatives that foster unity and contribute positively to society.
