Security forces neutralize 8 terrorists in two operations in KP

RAWALPINDI: In a series of targeted operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan’s security forces killed eight terrorists, including a key commander, on Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation took place in South Waziristan’s Sararogha area, where intelligence-based action led to the killing of Khan Muhammad, alias Khori, a notorious commander involved in target killings and extortion. He had a bounty of Rs1 million on his head. Another militant was also killed in the operation, and two terrorists were arrested.

The second operation took place in Lakki Marwat, where security forces engaged in a fierce gun battle, resulting in the elimination of six militants. Clearance operations are still underway in the area to ensure that no militants remain.
