Saima Saleem UNSC Speech Exposes India as Terror Sponsor and Occupier

Saima Saleem UNSC Speech Slams India on Terrorism, Kashmir & Water War

United Nations Security Council – (Web Desk) – Pakistan strongly challenged India at the United Nations Security Council this week. In her Saima Saleem UNSC speech, Counsellor Saima Saleem accused India of exporting terrorism, occupying lands by force, persecuting minorities, and weaponizing water against Pakistan.

Saleem told the Council that India keeps presenting itself as a victim. But the world can now see the truth. She said India funds terrorist groups like TTP, BLA, and Majeed Brigade, which have killed thousands of Pakistani civilians in mosques, markets, and schools.

She reminded the Council that Kashmir is still an internationally recognized dispute on the UNSC agenda. Civilians there are being killed, detained, and silenced. An entire people are denied their right to self-determination.

Saleem warned that India’s state-sponsored Hindutva extremism has made Islamophobia official policy. Muslims, Sikhs, Dalits, and Christians all face violence and discrimination with full government impunity.

She also condemned India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it a direct threat to the food and water security of 240 million Pakistanis.

Saleem concluded that Pakistan believes in peace, dialogue, and international law. India, she said, stands exposed on terrorism, occupation, aggression, and repression. Pakistan will always seek peaceful relations based on the UN Charter and mutual respect.
