Saim Ayub to Travel to London for Treatment: PCB Ensures Swift Recovery

Lahore: In a heartening move for the future of Pakistan’s cricket, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to send young cricket star Saim Ayub to London for immediate medical treatment. The decision comes after consultations with top doctors and specialists.

Saim, who was originally slated to return to Pakistan, will now be heading to England for specialized care. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi personally reached out to the promising batsman to check on his well-being and to wish him a speedy recovery.

“I spoke with Saim and reassured him of PCB’s full support during this time. We are making sure that he receives the best medical attention available,” said Naqvi. “Saim Ayub is a brilliant, stylish batsman and an asset to Pakistan cricket. His health and well-being are our top priority.”

Saim will be seen by leading sports orthopedic specialists in London, where an immediate appointment has been arranged. Dr. Mumraiz, part of the PCB’s medical team, has already shared Ayub’s medical reports with experts in England to ensure a seamless treatment plan. The chairman assured that all available resources would be mobilized for Saim’s treatment, which will take place at one of the world’s best hospitals.

“Every effort will be made to ensure his swift recovery, and we are confident that Saim will be back to his best before the ICC Champions Trophy,” Naqvi added.

Accompanying Saim on the journey will be assistant coach Azhar Mahmood, ensuring that the young batter receives the necessary support during his treatment abroad.
