Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett climbed six spots to 11th after scoring 292 runs

DUBAI (Web Desk): Sahibzada Farhan has surged to second place in the ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings following his extraordinary performance at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, putting him within striking distance of India’s Abhishek Sharma at the top spot.

Farhan became the first player in World Cup history to score two centuries in a single tournament, including a match-winning 100 off 60 balls against Sri Lanka, helping Pakistan secure victory. With a total of 383 runs in the tournament, he now sits just 26 points behind Sharma, having overtaken England’s Phil Salt.

Other notable movements in the T20I batter rankings include India’s Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma, now fourth and sixth respectively, while South Africa’s Dewald Brevis has risen to eighth.

Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett climbed six spots to 11th after scoring 292 runs, with South Africa’s Ryan Rickelton and Aiden Markram also moving up to 13th and 16th positions.

In the T20I bowler rankings, India’s Varun Chakravarthy remains at the top with 12 wickets but now has a reduced lead of 18 points, as Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed rises to third.

Among all-rounders, Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza continues to lead, followed by India’s Hardik Pandya in second, with West Indies’ Jason Holder making a notable jump to 11th after strong performances.
