Punjab Police undergoes major reshuffle with 34 transfers, posting
Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah has been appointed as the new DPO of Muzaffargarh
LAHORE: The Inspector General Punjab (IGP) Dr Usman Anwar has issued transfer and posting orders for 34 senior police officers, including six district police officers (DPOs).
According to the notification, Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah has been appointed as the new DPO of Muzaffargarh, while Tariq Wilayat is posted as DPO Dera Ghazi Khan.
Similarly, Rana Umar Farooq is posted as DPO Gujrat, and Afraz Ahmad has been made DPO Nankana Sahib. Sardar Mawarhan Khan has been posted as DPO Attock, and Amara Shirazi has been appointed as DPO Khushab.
In another notable transfer and posting orders, Bushra Jamil has been posted as SSP Operations Faisalabad, while Rizwan Ahmed becomes AIG Development.

Tauqeer Naeem has been designated as SSP Intelligence, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Punjab, Lahore.
Further changes include the appointment of Kashif Aslam as CTO Multan and Sardar Ghiyas Gul as SSP RIB.
Syed Nadeem Abbas has been posted as SSP Headquarters Traffic, Punjab.
Former DPO D.G Khan, Syed Ali, has been transferred to the Central Police Office (CPO) to proceed abroad for a training course.
Muhammad Saleem Khattak has been posted as SP Special Branch, Gujranwala Division. Hassan Javed Bhatti is posted as SSP Internal Accountability Branch, Lahore.
Tanveer Hussain has been made IABC, CCD Punjab, and Khadija Umar has been appointed SP Sadar Division, Multan.
Shamsuddin has been posted as SP Investigation, D.G. Khan, while Saba Sattar has taken charge as Additional AIG Training.
Shahid Nazir has been posted as SP Investigation, Rahim Yar Khan. Usman Munir Saifi, who was previously serving as SP Investigation, Sialkot, has been transferred to the CPO.
Farhan Aslam has been appointed as CTO Rawalpindi, and Muhammad Raza Tanveer will now serve as SSP Investigation, Rawalpindi. Sohaib Raja has been assigned as SP Investigation, Sialkot.
Moreover, Nasir Javed Rana has been posted as CTO Faisalabad.
Bilal Mehmood Sulehri, who was serving as SP Safe Cities, Sialkot, has been close to the CPO.
