Punjab Launches Digital Skills Program for Women
The one-year initiative, estimated to cost Rs700 million, will target women aged 15 to 35
Lahore (Web Desk): The Government of Punjab has approved a major initiative aimed at promoting women’s economic empowerment and creating dignified employment opportunities across the province.
Under the program titled ‘e-Learn She Earn’, thousands of women will receive training in modern digital skills to help them earn independently and participate in the growing digital economy.
The one-year initiative, estimated to cost Rs700 million, will target women aged 15 to 35. Participants will be offered free three-month online courses in high-demand fields.

The training will cover areas such as digital customer care, graphic design, e-commerce store management, digital marketing, and virtual assistance.
In addition to free training, selected participants will be provided with laptops, internet access, and a monthly stipend to support their learning process.
Officials said the initiative is designed to equip women with market-relevant skills, enabling them to work remotely, launch online businesses, and contribute effectively to the digital workforce.
