Education Minister confirms annual exams to proceed as scheduled

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Punjab’s Rana Sikandar Hayat clarified on Saturday that there are no plans to conduct online classes in schools.

The provincial education minister announced that annual examinations for government schools will begin on March 9, while matriculation exams are scheduled to start on March 27.

He added that following matriculation, examinations in colleges and universities are set to take place during the last week of April.

Intermediate Part-I and Part-II annual exams will be held in May, according to Rana Sikandar Hayat. After the intermediate exams, O and A level examinations for private institutions will also commence.

The minister emphasized that preparation for annual exams cannot be effectively conducted through online classes and confirmed that all educational activities in schools, colleges, and universities will continue as usual.
