Punjab Assembly Speaker Celebrates 75 Years Pakistan-China Ties
Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan Highlights Pakistan-China Cooperation at Gala
LAHORE (ASIF IQBAL)- Speaker of the Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan attended the Spring Festival Gala organised to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, where he extended warm greetings and best wishes to the Chinese community.
Speaking on the occasion, the speaker said that Pakistan-China relations were a model for the international community, adding that ties between the two countries had remained exemplary under all circumstances. He congratulated both nations on the milestone and said their partnership continued to grow, particularly in the fields of business and economic cooperation.
Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan said that Pakistan and China were working closely together for mutual cooperation, development and regional peace, and had always stood by each other in difficult times. He noted that bilateral collaboration had strengthened across political, defence and economic sectors over the years.

Highlighting the importance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the speaker said the project was not only significant for Pakistan but for the entire region. He added that CPEC was a key initiative of the government, contributing to progress in energy, infrastructure and industry, while creating new employment opportunities across the country
The speaker reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further deepening its longstanding friendship with China, terming it a partnership based on trust, mutual respect and shared prosperity.
