Punjab Announces Summer Vacation Schedule for 2025

LAHORE – : The School Education Department of Punjab has officially announced the schedule for summer vacations across all public and private schools in the province. The holidays will begin on Sunday, June 1, 2025, and continue until Saturday, August 9, 2025.
The decision comes in response to the ongoing rise in temperatures and growing climate-related concerns. Authorities have stated that if weather conditions worsen further, the summer break may begin even earlier to ensure the safety and well-being of students, teachers, and school staff.
“This decision has been made prioritizing the health and safety of children and educators. Extreme heat can severely impact the learning environment and overall well-being,” a spokesperson for the School Education Department said.
