PTI Says Imran Khan Allows Submission of Written Demands to Govt
PTI's Ali Zafar Calls for Written Charter of Demands in Ongoing Talks with Govt
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar announced that party founder Imran Khan has directed PTI leaders to continue negotiations with the government and submit two key demands in writing. These demands, according to Gohar, are intended to address national issues, not personal deals. The party is proposing the formation of a commission and the release of political prisoners as part of the process.
Gohar emphasized that the demands will be submitted to the government’s negotiation committee in writing, following Imran Khan’s instructions. He dismissed rumors suggesting that PTI leaders were negotiating for personal gain, stating that the discussions were focused on the country’s future.

Separately, PTI parliamentary leader Barrister Ali Zafar reiterated that the demands would be presented as a condition for continuing talks with the government. He added that any negotiations would also address key issues like elections, governance, and political reforms. Ali Zafar also called for a written charter of demands from the government to ensure transparency and commitment in the dialogue process.
